The Cortijo is well signposted from surrounding villages, such as Albaricoques and Fernan Perez. I travelled by car from Albaricoques along a dirt track for about 10 minutes to reach the Cortijo. These days its falling into ruin, there are many signs and notices warning of danger and to keep out of the main building. So if you plan a visit don't leave it too long.
Apart from 'The Good the Bad and the Ugly', I've seen the cortijo in 'A Bullet for the General' and 'A Fistful of Travellers Cheques' an excellent spaghetti western spoof from British TV in 1984.
